Who runs this site
onlinedevicetest.com is built and run by Keyro Labs, an independent software studio, and funded by ads rather than by anyone whose hardware these tools measure. It is not a hardware vendor, repair chain, driver-utility company, or data broker, and it has no affiliate relationship with anything a test might diagnose.

Why we built this
Most "device test" sites give you a green checkmark and call it a day. That tells you something works — not how well. We wanted the opposite: the actual numbers, with units, presented like instrumentation you can trust.
So every tool here measures and reports — input levels in dBFS, refresh in Hz, latency in milliseconds — and runs entirely in your browser. No uploads, no accounts, no servers in the loop. Just you, your device, and honest data.

How we measure — and what we can't
Every value comes straight from standard web APIs in your browser. Those APIs are honest about what they can see, and they are not a substitute for a lab bench: browsers throttle timers, coalesce input events, and add privacy guards, so measured numbers can trail the numbers printed on a product box.
Some APIs are simply missing — the Battery Status API is removed in Firefox and Safari, for example. The browser also cannot read battery wear or cycle count, iPhone battery health, panel backlight condition, or anything that needs a vendor driver. How this is funded
The tools stay free through clearly-labelled ads. Ad cookies are gated by the consent banner you control. We do not sell diagnostic data — we do not collect it to sell — there is no paywall, and there is no upsell to a repair service. The full cookie and consent detail is on the Privacy page.
